Terms And Condition
Welcome to Leon Taekwondo Academy! We are excited to have you join our martial arts training program. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before enrolling.
1: Full Uniform and Belt:
a. All students are required to wear a complete Taekwondo uniform (dobok) and the appropriate belt during training sessions.
b. The uniform and belt must be clean, in good condition, and worn properly.
2: Punctuality:
a. Students are expected to arrive on time for all classes and activities.
b. Latecomers may be asked to wait until an appropriate time to join the class.
3: Respect:
a. Respect towards instructors, staff, fellow students, and the training environment is paramount.
b. Students must follow all instructions provided by the instructors and adhere to the code of conduct at all times.
4: Timely Payments:
a. Monthly fees must be paid in full and on time, as agreed upon during enrollment.
b. Late payments may incur additional charges or result in temporary suspension from classes until payment is made.
5: Continuous Enrollment:
a. To maintain your place in the academy, students are required to continue making payments even if they are unable to attend classes.
b. Failure to meet payment obligations may result in the loss of your spot in the academy.
6: Cancellation Policy:
a. Cancellation of enrollment must be requested at least one month in advance.
b. Cancellations made less than one month in advance may result in a partial or no refund, depending on the circumstances.
c. Written notice is required for cancellation, either through email or a formal letter.
7: Code of Conduct:
a. Students must follow the academy’s code of conduct, which includes maintaining discipline, practicing good sportsmanship, and refraining from any behaviour that may endanger themselves or others.
b. Any violation of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion from the academy.
8: Health and Safety:
a. Students must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect their ability to participate in training activities.
b. Students are responsible for their own health and safety during training and are encouraged to use protective equipment as instructed.
9: Personal Belongings:
a. Leon Taekwondo Academy is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings brought to the premises.
b. Students are advised to keep their personal belongings secure at all times.
10: Amendments to Terms and Conditions:
a. Leon Taekwondo Academy reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions as deemed necessary.
b. Any updates or modifications will be communicated to the students in a timely manner.
11: By enrolling in Leon Taekwondo Academy, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the above terms and conditions. Failure to abide by these terms may result in the termination of your enrollment. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact our academy administration.

12: Dear Students,
We want to inform you that Leon Taekwondo Academy will be closed for 3 weeks in August and 1 week during Christmas. Please note that no classes will be held during these closure periods. However, there’s no need for you to stop your direct debit. Our payment system already considers the full year as 52 weeks, but we only charge for 48 weeks, spread evenly across the 12 monthly payments. Closure Periods: Leon Taekwondo Academy will be closed during the following periods:
- Summer Closure: August 10th to September 2nd
- Christmas Closure: December 23rd to January 3rd
Note: You won’t be charged for our closure periods. Rest assured, your payments consider 48 weeks, evenly spread across 12 months. Thank you for your understanding and support.
